SYNERGIA takes center stage at Laval Virtual Days 2026: shaping the future of inclusive XR

A spotlight on innovation and inclusion
On June 25, 2026, SYNERGIA was proudly featured at Laval Virtual Days in Bordeaux, a thematic afternoon organized by Laval Virtual, one of Europe’s most influential events dedicated to virtual reality, augmented reality, and immersive technologies. The event brought together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to explore the latest advancements and future trends in XR (Extended Reality).
Julien Castet, representing Immersion, a pioneer in XR since 1994 and one of the SYNERGIA’s partners, delivered the opening keynote, titled “XR in 2026: Between Promise and Reality.” His presentation placed SYNERGIA at the heart of the conversation, highlighting its ambitious vision for the future of immersive technologies.
Synergia’s vision: XR and AI for everyone

During his keynote, Julien Castet emphasized SYNERGIA’s commitment to making XR and AI accessible and adaptable to all users. The project aims to break down barriers and foster inclusion, ensuring that immersive technologies are not just cutting-edge but also user-centric and universally beneficial.
By combining real-time emotion and cognitive sensing, adaptive 3D assistants, and dynamic immersive worlds, SYNERGIA enables personalized, inclusive, and trustworthy XR environments for training, rehabilitation, and collaboration.
A promising start for dissemination
While the project is still in its early stages, Julien’s keynote provided a valuable opportunity to kickstart the dissemination and communication efforts around SYNERGIA. This first step marks the beginning of an exciting journey to share the project’s innovations and impact with a broader audience.
